Derbyshire Canal Cruise with Afternoon Tea

A popular outing with all our customers - a 2 1/2 hour cruise on the Judith Mary Canal Boat with afternoon tea. Before enjoying our afternoon cruise we will spend some time in Matlock which is the county town of Derbyshire and a former spa town situated at a sharp bend in the River Derwent. Perhaps you could enjoy a light lunch or peruse the shops - dont forget your included afternoon tea on the Judith Mary which is substantial!

Sandringham Flower Show is one of the most prestigious horticultural events in the East of England. Now in its 139th year, it is much more than just a Flower Show. It is a unique event offering not only the best in horticulture but also an excellent day out, filled with family entertainment. Set in the magnificent surroundings of Sandringham Park with Sandringham House
and Sandringham Church as a backdrop, this one-day Show attracts around 20,000 visitors each year.

MONDAY BAKEWELL MARKET AND MASSON MILL
We will visit the beautiful Peak District town of Bakewell which has had a market
since 1330. The towns Livestock and Stall Markets continue to attract visitors,
as well as providing an essential service to the local community. The Monday
market in the centre of the town boasts around 100 stalls. Sir Richard Arkwrights
Masson Mill is a water-powered cotton spinning mill situated on the west bank of
the River Derwent in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire in England. This mill was built in
1783. It forms part of the Derwent Valley Mills, a World Heritage Site.
A place of extraordinary cultural and historical wealth, this beautifully preserved
medieval city is a must-visit! York the called Jorvik was once the capital of a
Viking terrortry you can head back in time to learn more & experience the
sights, sounds and smells of the time at the emersive Jorvik Viking Centre. You
could even visit York Minster, one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe.
Like stepping back into the middle ages the traditional shop fronts of The
Shambles makes it one the UKs most historic and picturesque places to shop.
WEDNESDAY SPRINGFIELDS AND BOSTON BELLE
Today we visit the wonderful Springfields Shopping Outlet in Spalding with over
50 big name retail brands offering huge discounts! Also visiting the Boston Belle
for the Wednesday Market Day River Cruise. The cruise will depart from Sluice
Bridge and is a leisurely cruise to Langrick Bridge and back.
THURSDAY STRATFORD UPON AVON
The birthplace of William Shakespeare, steeped in culture and history. Set in the
beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, on the banks of the river Avon, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK.
FRIDAY HUNSTANTON AND NORFOLK LAVENDER
The elegant seaside resort of Hunstanton is renowned for its unique striped cliffs
and magnificent sunsets, made special by its position as the only west-facing
resort on the East coast.Enjoy fish & chips and a cooling ice cream! On the way
back from Hunstanton to end our marvellous week we will stop off at Norfolk
Lavender. Enjoy the world famous Lavender Fields and the intriguing Lavender
Oil Distillery, National Lavender Collection and Herb Garden.

Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Set in magical surroundings with a cast of 130 professional singers, dancers and musicians. The 3 hour performance is said to deliver an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety.
