Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Wednesday 5th August

Visit the UKs No.1 walkthrough Wildlife Adventure Park with us! There is a full programme of ranger talks and feeding times, indoor and outdoor play areas, cafés, shops in the new Safari Village and walkthrough safari animal areas! Severn Valley Railway

Friday 14th August

Set in the beautiful English countryside, The Severn Valley Railway is a 16 mile long heritage railway near Birmingham, running regular steam trains and heritage diesel trains. Start at Kidderminster Station built in the mid 1980’s which retains the character of the original Ross-On-Wye Station built by the Great Western Railway. Take a look in the Railway Museums to see the exhibitions, and visit fascinating places along the route, including The Engine House, with its collection of historic engines and carriages! The Severn Valley Railway will charm and thrill everyone, both young and old.

MONDAY – BAKEWELL MARKET AND MASSON MILL We will visit the beautiful Peak District town of Bakewell which has had a market since 1330. The town’s Livestock and Stall Markets continue to attract visitors, as well as providing an essential service to the local community. The Monday market in the centre of the town boasts around 100 stalls. Sir Richard Arkwright’s Masson Mill is a water-powered cotton spinning mill situated on the west bank of the River Derwent in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire in England. This mill was built in 1783. It forms part of the Derwent Valley Mills, a World Heritage Site.

TUESDAY – YORK A place of extraordinary cultural and historical wealth, this beautifully preserved medieval city is a must-visit! York – then called Jorvik was once the capital of a Viking territory – you can head back in time to learn more and experience the sights, sounds and smells of the time at the emersive Jorvik Viking Centre. You could even visit York Minster, one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe. Like stepping back into the middle ages the traditional shop fronts of The Shambles makes it one the UK’s most historic and picturesque places to shop.

WEDNESDAY – SPRINGFIELD’S AND BOSTON BELLE Today we visit the wonderful Springfields Shopping Outlet in Spalding with over 50 big name retail brands offering huge discounts! Also visiting the Boston Belle for the Wednesday Market Day River Cruise. The cruise will depart from Sluice Bridge and is a leisurely cruise to Langrick Bridge and back.

THURSDAY – STRATFORD UPON AVON The birthplace of William Shakespeare, steeped in culture and history. Set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, on the banks of the river Avon, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK.

FRIDAY – HUNSTANTON AND NORFOLK LAVENDER The elegant seaside resort of Hunstanton is renowned for its unique striped cliffs and magnificent sunsets, made special by its position as the only west-facing resort on the East coast. Enjoy fish & chips and a cooling ice cream! On the way back from Hunstanton to end our marvellous week we will stop off at Norfolk Lavender. Enjoy the world famous Lavender Fields and the intriguing Lavender Oil Distillery, National Lavender Collection and Herb Garden.

Twinlakes Park or Melton Mowbray

Sheringham and Cromer

Firstly visiting the Jewel of the North Norfolk Coast with its many small shops to explore and the beautiful murals on the sea walls to spot whilst you walk along the front. Skipton Canal Cruise

Tuesday 1st September

Visit Skipton “The Gateway to the Dales” a wonderful historic market town situated in North Yorkshire right in the heart of beautiful scenery. We take a 3 hour cruise along the Leeds & Liverpool canal with afternoon tea - enjoying sandwiches, scones, and cakes, as well as hot beverages served on board. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery from your window before we enjoy some free time in Skipton afterwards.

A day out at a British seaside resort – Scarborough has a large sandy beach, long level promenade and plenty of places from which to choose ice cream and fish & chips. Strictly Ballroom the Musical

Tuesday 29th September

Chatsworth has been handed down 16 generations of the Cavendish family and is always a popular place to interest all of our customers. Visit the beautiful House decorated for Christmas with its famous displays on the lower floors of the House in a theme soon to be announced for 2020. This annual attraction appears in Victoria Square and New Street every year, with dozens of stalls selling food, drink, gifts, decorations and other seasonal items. The market is known as Frankfurt Christmas Market and brings traditional German festivities to the city.

Robin Hood Pantomime

Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Set in magical surroundings with a cast of 130 professional singers, dancers and musicians. The 3 hour performance is said to deliver an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety.
