Grantham Road/Level Crossing Closure

Due to major roadworks in Sleaford town centre along Grantham Road and a closure of the main railway crossing the following routes will have amendments from Monday 13 July – 2nd September.

Due to Phase 2 of the Grantham Road roadworks, the section between Northfield Road and Rookery Avenue will be closed on Wednesday 22 July - 5th August.

This will affect the following services;

✅ Service will start and terminate at the Spar shop

❌ All other bus stops along Grantham Road will not be served due to the required diversion

🚧 S148S 🚧

✅ Spar bus stop, Sleaford will still be served as normal - AM & PM

❌ All other bus stops along Grantham Road will not be served due to the required diversion

🚧 S35S 🚧

AM service: 

❌ No stops along Grantham Road will be served due to the required diversion route

❌Sleaford Market Place will not be served

PM service: 

❌ No stops along Grantham Road will be served due to the required diversion route

❌ Yorkshire Trading will not be served 

🚧SLE9 🚧

✅ Spar bus stop, Sleaford will still be served as normal - AM & PM

❌ All other bus stops along Grantham Road will not be served due to the required diversion

🚧SLE8 🚧

AM Service:

✅ SPAR will still be served as usual

❌ No other stops along Grantham Road will be served 

❌ Sleaford - Yorkshire Trading will not be served 

PM Service:

❌ No stops along Grantham Road will be served

❌ Sleaford - Market Place will not be served 

❌ Sleaford - Hills Court will not be served

Delays to all of our Sleaford contracts / services are inevitable during this period. The road closures and diversion routes are expected to cause significant traffic congestion across Sleaford, particularly during peak travel times. Whilst our operations staff and drivers will do everything possible to keep services running to schedule, these delays are beyond our control.
