Grantham Road/Level Crossing Closure

Due to major roadworks in Sleaford town centre along Grantham Road and a closure of the main railway crossing the following routes will have amendments from Monday 13 July – 2nd September.

Phase 2 of the Grantham Road roadworks, the section between Northfield Road and Rookery Avenue will be closed on Wednesday 22 July - 5th August. 

This will affect the following services;

AM & PM Services UNTIL 1800

Service will start and terminate at SPAR.

❌ Sleaford Spriggs Close – Not served
❌ Sleaford Church Lane – Not served
❌ Sleaford Yorkshire Trading – Not served
❌ Greylees - Not served
❌ Curlew Way, Rookery - Not served
❌ Spire View - Not served
❌ Church, Town Road - Not served

IT2 and 3 will revert back from diversion after 1800 but will still not serve the following stops;

❌ Sleaford Westgate – Not served
❌ Sleaford Spriggs Close – Not served
❌ Sleaford Church Lane – Not served
❌ Sleaford Yorkshire Trading – Not served

Delays to our services are inevitable during this period. The road closures and diversion routes are expected to cause significant traffic congestion across Sleaford, particularly during peak travel times. Whilst our operations staff and drivers will do everything possible to keep services running to schedule, these delays are beyond our control.
